What we listen to…

As you can imagine, music is the driving force of our work day, so it’s easy to fall into a musical rut. With long shifts, the amount of music we consume is massive… It would be fair to say that we’ve worn the grooves off numerous albums.

I’ve included this page to not only share what motivates us daily but also as a challenge to ourselves mix it up.

May’s Rotation-

Well crafted synth pop, reminiscent of Johnny and Mary from Robert Palmer. Minimally spacious with inviting dark corners to snog in. While this is only a single it makes a great jumping off point to start a station on your stream of choice…

Brother in Christ I can not tell you how much I’m obsessed with this artist. If Nico had a post punk band circa Slits and Delta 5. Dubby bass lines, angular guitars, lo-fi synths and sometimes a sequenced beat. This album is only 14 years old but could have easily been made in 1979,

2005 was a helluva drug. This came on randomly while I building the shop, and was elated. Gimme Fiction hits a little harder… maybe because it was often being played to and from shows, late nights in house parties with warm beers, or afters where Spoon’s roadie and myself would dance until 4am.
